Event Coordinator, Diné
I am Diné from the Bit’ahnii clan and born for Kinłichíí’nii clan raised in Kirtland, New Mexico. I am a Hospital Response Team Advocate at the Rape Recovery Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. I received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. In the fall, I will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Utah. I am an active advocate and voice for Native and Non-Native Communities.
Communication Coordinator, Navajo
I am from Las Vegas and I am Navajo. I graduated from BYU this spring with a bachelor’s degree in Experience Design and Management. Currently I work in the marketing field but I hope to work in performing arts management when those events resume. I danced on BYU’s International Folk Dance Ensemble for 2 years and was able to tour to France, Belgium, Poland, and China. I love dancing, cooking, traveling, and playing card games.

I am a member of the Ute Indian Tribe. I recently graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications and a Minor in Multidisciplinary Design. I am very passionate and committed to my cultural upbringing and love working with others.
I am from Crown Point New Mexico, I am Navajo / Diné. I attended school at The University of Utah and received a bachelor’s of Science Degree majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Chemistry. I am currently applying to medical school with hopes in the future to serve Native Americans who lack access to quality healthcare.
Brooke D. Overturf
I am from St. Michaels, AZ and an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation. I’m the Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations at my alma mater St. Michael Indian School. In 2019, I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics and Organizational Leadership. I have experience in working in the nonprofit field with ASU Foundation and NABI Foundation.
